GIFT MONDAY MAKES BOSTON LEGACY DEBUT IN STALEMATE VS SAN DIEGO WAVE

Super Falcons Forward Gift Monday made her official debut for Boston Legacy FC as the American side battled to a 2–2 draw against San Diego Wave FC in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) on Sunday, October 25, 2026.

The Nigerian international made her first appearance in Boston’s colours as a second-half substitute at Snapdragon Stadium, coming on in the 76th minute to replace Annie Karich as they continued their search for a winning goal.

Monday was introduced shortly after the equaliser for Boston Legacy, making her first competitive appearance for the club following her transfer from Washington Spirit earlier in October. Although she did not feature in the goalscoring sequence, her introduction added another attacking option as Boston sought to finish the match strongly.

The Nigerian Forward began a new chapter with her debut following her spell at Washington Spirit, where she established herself as a goalscoring threat, and her arrival at Boston Legacy is set to boost the club’s attack with pace and depth as she looks to settle quickly and contribute in the remaining games.
