Nigeria’s U-17 Women’s National Team, the Flamingos, have completed their final training session ahead of their departure for Morocco on Wednesday morning for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The Nigeria Flamingos rounded off their preparations with a final training session this morning as head coach Hakeem Busari and his technical crew put the finishing touches to the team’s preparations for the global tournament.
The Flamingos have spent several weeks in camp, undergoing intensive training sessions and competitive friendly matches before travelling to Côte d’Ivoire for the 2026 WAFU-B U-17 Girls Cup.
Nigeria went on to enjoy a successful campaign in the regional tournament, winning the competition and gaining valuable competitive experience ahead of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
With their final training session now completed, attention has shifted to Morocco as the Flamingos prepare to represent Nigeria on the global stage.
The team is expected to depart Nigeria on Wednesday morning as the countdown to the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup continues.
