Nigeria’s U-17 Women’s National Team, the Flamingos, have arrived safely in Casablanca, Morocco, ahead of the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The Nigerian contingent touched down at Mohammed V International Airport on Wednesday morning at 10:16 a.m. local time, equivalent to 11:16 a.m. Nigerian time.

The team proceeded to the Ibis Hotel in Casablanca, where the players and officials will be based during their stay in the Moroccan city.
The arrival officially marks the Flamingos’ entry into the tournament environment as they get set for their participation in the global youth competition.

Nigeria’s U-17 women have established a strong presence at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, with the competition providing an important platform for young players to gain international experience and showcase their talent.
The Flamingos will now await the start of their World Cup campaign as they seek to represent Nigeria on the global stage.
