The Nigeria U-20 Women’s National Team, the Falconets, have officially resumed training in Poland ahead of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
Following their arrival in Poland, the team wasted no time in getting back to work as they held their first training session as part of their final preparations for the global tournament.
The training session gave the team an opportunity to settle into their new environment and begin building the focus and teamwork needed for the competition.
The Falconets continue the training through an intensive session, with the players showing good energy, commitment and determination as they continue to prepare for the challenges ahead.
The team is expected to continue working on the team’s tactics, fitness, coordination and finishing as the tournament is now approaching and Nigeria looks to make a strong impression on the world stage.
Nigeria has a strong history in the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, having reached the final on three occasions. The Falconets will therefore be hoping to build on that tradition and produce another impressive campaign in Poland.
The first training session now completed, attention turns fully to the tournament as the Falconets continue their preparations with one clear objective to represent Nigeria with pride and compete for success on the global stage.
