Super Falcons Defender Ashleigh Plumptre was on the scoresheet for Al-Ittihad Ladies as they secured an impressive 4-2 victory over Al-Nassr in the Saudi Women’s Premier League.

Plumptre started the encounter and played an important role as Al-Ittihad continued their strong beginning to the 2026/27 season.

The Nigerian Defender opened the scoring in the 15th minute after Al-Nassr conceded a penalty. Plumptre stepped up confidently from the spot and converted the opportunity to give Al-Ittihad an early lead.

The goal marked another important contribution from the Super Falcons defender, who has continued to play a key role for the Saudi club.

Al-Ittihad, however, remained composed and eventually from the first goal Ashleigh scored and sealed the victory in the 80th minute when Lina Boussaha scored the fourth goal.

Ashleigh Plumptre with her performances for her club has a double with Al-Ittihad as the club now have recorded two wins from their opening two league matches, following their 3-1 victory over Al-Hilal in the opening fixture.
