OLYMPIC QUALIFIERS: 9 PLAYERS ARRIVE SUPER FALCONS CAMP IN IKENNE, TWO NEW FACES INCLUDED

Nine players have arrived at the Super Falcons’ camp in Ikenne, Ogun State, as preparations begin for Nigeria’s 2028 Olympic qualifying clash against Comoros.

The early arrivals include goalkeeper Christiana Ijeoma Uzoma of Edo Queens, defenders Farida Abdulwahab of Nasarawa Amazons, Tumininu Adeshina, Valentina Uroko and Glory Edet, midfielders Joy Igbokwe and Fatimoh Solaty, as well as forwards Blessing Nkor of Dynamo Brest and Sandra John of Rivers Queens.

The group features two newly invited players, with Valentina Uroko and Sandra John receiving their first call-ups to the Super Falcons squad for the Olympic qualifying campaign.

The arrival of the nine players marks the beginning of preparations for the Falcons as they look ahead to their first qualifying fixture against Comoros.

More players are expected to join the squad in camp as interim Head Coach Augustine Eguavoen and his technical crew continue preparations for the crucial Olympic qualifying encounter.
