Super Falcons Forward Francisca Ordega has officially parted ways with Saudi Women’s Premier League side Al-Ittihad Ladies Club following the completion of her two-year contract.

Ordega joined Al-Ittihad with the experience of playing at the highest level of women’s football and went on to make 20 appearances for the Saudi club during her time with the team contributing to the team during her two-year spell.

Before her move to Saudi Arabia, Ordega had already built an impressive career in both Nigeria and abroad. She began her professional journey with Bayelsa Queens and has gone on to represent 10 different clubs during her career.

At international level, Ordega has been an important player for the Super Falcons of Nigeria, representing the country at major competitions, including the FIFA Women’s World Cup and the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

She has also been part of the Super Falcons squad that has enjoyed success at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, featuring in five WAFCON title-winning campaigns for Nigeria.

After completing her two-year contract with Al-Ittihad now becomes a free agent as she looks ahead to the next chapter of her career.

Her experience, long career and achievements with the Super Falcons make her one of the experienced Nigerian players still capable of making an impact at the next stage of her football journey.
