Nigeria’s U-17 Women’s National Team, the Flamingos, have arrived in Rabat after completing their stay in Casablanca as preparations continue for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.
The team’s move to Rabat marks another stage in their preparations as they intensify their focus ahead of the tournament, which brings together some of the best young women’s football teams from across the world.

Head Coach Hakeem Busari and his players will continue their preparations in Rabat as they fine-tune their readiness for the opening fixture against Poland on 17 October.
The Flamingos head into placethe global competition following an impressive outing at the WAFU-B U-17 Girls Cup, where they emerged champions after defeating Togo 4-0 in the final.

With their opening match approaching, Nigeria will aim to build on that success and translate their preparations into strong performances on the world stage.
