The Super Falcons Forward Gift Monday made her first appearance following her return to club after the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, featuring for Washington Spirit in their league match against Bay FC.

Monday was named among the substitutes for Washington Spirit and was introduced in the 68th minute as the club looked to secure a positive result.

The Nigerian Forward brought fresh energy to the attack after coming onto the pitch and helped her team see out the game.

Washington Spirit eventually secured a 1-0 victory over Bay FC, taking all three points from the match.
