Chioma Moses delivered a performance to remember as she emerged as the standout star of the opening game of the WAFU B CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers, scoring a superb hat-trick in a commanding 7–0 victory against Niger’s Republic GNN FC.

Known affectionately as “Senior Man,” Moses showed exactly why she has earned the nickname, taking centre stage with a composed, confident and clinical display that earned her the Player of the Match award.

The forward wasted no time making her mark. Just five minutes into the encounter, Moses opened the scoring, setting the tone for what would become a dominant afternoon.

Her first goal gave her side early momentum, but Moses continued to torment the opposition defence as the game progressed. She doubled her tally in dramatic fashion in the 45+5th minute, finding the net just before the half-time whistle to give her team an even greater advantage going into the break.

With two goals already to her name, Moses returned for the second half with the same attacking intent. She completed her hat-trick in the 75th minute, putting the finishing touch on a remarkable individual performance.

Her three goals formed a major part of a seven-goal attacking masterclass, with the team maintaining its control from the opening whistle to the final moments of the match.
