Nigerian Midfielder Regina Ibiang Otu on Thursday extended her contract with French D1 Arkema side Association Sportive De Saint-Etienne for a year and will stay at the club till the summer of 2024.

The 26-year old was instrumental to the French side’s promotion to the elite league and was rewarded with a one year extension.

The defensive midfielder joined the French side from Minsk last season, having mutually terminated her 2-year contract with Belarus giants following their 2022/2023 UEFA Women’s Champions League ouster.
” I am very happy to extend my contract with ASSE – Association Sportive de Saint-Etienne for next season. Can’t wait to get started”. She said.

The former Rivers Angels and Edo Queens Midfielder was left out of the Super Falcons squad to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, but will be hoping she can help her club stay and do well in the D1 Arkema.
