The victory secured their spot in the Quarterfinals, where they are set to face another Super Falcons player, Jennifer Echegini’s Florida State.

The clash unfolded at Razorback Field in Fayetteville, marking Pittsburgh’s second Sweet Sixteen appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The breakthrough moment came in the 51st minute when Melenhorst Keera found the net with a precise shot to the top right corner.
Deborah Abiodun showed her goal-scoring ability in the 75th minute, with clever use of outside right foot — finishing off great effort by Samiah Phiri who cuts it back from end line. The brilliant execution showcased Abiodun’s immense ability on the field.
In the 87th minute, Pittsburgh sealed the victory with a goal from Aliya Gomes, who found the top left of the goal. Abiodun’s crucial involvement, including her clever use of the outside right foot, contributed to the team’s success.
