The body governing football in Africa, CAF has announced the nominees for various awards that are up for grab in the women’s category.
Seven Super Falcons Players have been nominated for this year’s CAF Women player of the year.
The players are Asisat Oshoala, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Christy Ucheibe, Rasheedat Ajibade, Toni Payne, Uchenna Kanu and Osinachi Ohale.
The ceremony is slated to be hosted in Morocco, December 11, 2023 which is the same day for the Men’s award. This award is organised every year in a bid to celebrate everyone who has put the Women’s football in the faces of people on the continent and around the world.
