Super Falcons’ attacker, Gift Monday was on the score sheet as 8th place UD Tenerife Femenino settled for a 1-1 draw against 10th place Levante Las Planas Femenino in the 16th matchday of the 2023-24 Spanish Primera División Femenina league.
Gift Monday made a stunning impact in the 4th minute with a header from close range after a fine cross from Pisco, giving Tenerife the early lead.
Despite several promising opportunities, including Gift’s right-footed shot in the 20th minute and another Nigerian, Rinsola Babajide’s attempt in the 26th minute, Tenerife couldn’t extend their lead before the break.
