Super Falcons trio of Gift Monday, Rinsola Babajide and Esther Okoronkwo played important parts in helping UDG Tenerife secure a 2-0 victory over Granada in the Spanish Liga F’ on Saturday.
Rinsola Babajide started upfront, alongside Koko Ange N’guessan and was on the pitch for 70 minutes, Gift Monday, who was celebrating her birthday yesterday, had just thirty minutes on the pitch, while Esther Okoronkwo took part for five minutes.
Tenerife’s first goal was scored in the 10th minute by Ivorian Striker Koko Ange N’guessan, while Thais Ferreira netted in the second of the game in the 61st minute to give the Costa Adeje Tenerife Egatesa side a well deserved victory.
The win has taken Tenerife to 7th on the log of the Liga F’, after 11 games with 16 points recorded so far.
