Paris FC and Stade de Reims play out a 1-1 draw at Stade Louis Bleriot.
In an exciting French Division 1 Féminine clash, Paris FC, boasting Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie in their ranks, faced off against Stade de Reims, where Rofiat Imuran and Oluwatosin Demehin donned the Reims colors. The match ended in a thrilling 1-1 draw at Stade Louis Bleriot on sunday.
While all three Super Falcons players initially began the game on the bench, Imuran was strategically subbed in during the 68th minute when Reims held a 1-0 lead. Her entry aimed to fortify the defense, replacing winger Shana Chossenotte. Imuran promptly made an impact, earning a crucial free-kick in her defensive half in the 70th minute.
However, Paris FC orchestrated a comeback in the 75th minute, leveling the score at 1-1 with a spectacular right-footed shot from Margaux Le Mouël outside the box.
In the 90th minute, Imuran nearly secured the victory for Reims, but her left-footed attempt from the left side of the box sailed too high.
Despite the competitive encounter, both Chiamaka Nnadozie and Oluwatosin Demehin remained unused subs as their respective teams shared the spoils.
