Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre has been named October Player of The Month in the Saudi Women’s Premier League.

The 25-year-old bagged a hat-trick for Al Ittihad Women in her full debut last month and also scooped the best goal of the month award.

Plumptre beat two other nominees to land the individual award.
She polled 53.5 per cent to finish first, the runner-up got 40.8 per cent while the third-placed player had 5.7 per cent.
Plumptre being named Player of the Month did not come as a surprise, Parisas she bagged a hat-trick in her debut game for Al Ittihad, who beat Eastern Flame 3-0 in the league opener in October.

The Falcons won the second leg 4-0 to advance into the next round on 5-1 aggregate.
Plumptre joined Al Ittihad after her contract at hometown club Leicester expired on July 13, 2023
