Monday Gift’s heroics took centre stage as she scored a remarkable brace, sealing a thrilling triumph for Tenerife against Atletico De Madrid’s women’s team, which also boasts the presence of another Super Falcons player Rashedat Ajibade, in their ranks.

There was no time for that. We were having a meeting in our dressing room, so we weren’t able to reach out to each other.”
